The miniature "Peacock on a vine" ("Sunday"), made entirely by hand and covered with artistic paintings, is a small work of art. The lamp (lampada), cast from tin, depicts a peacock – an ancient Christian symbol, a symbol of the immortality of the soul, the beauty of Paradise and rebirth to a new life.
On the bowl of the lamp, the letters Α (alpha) and ω (omega) are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. This combination is the name of Jesus Christ:
