Made entirely by hand and dyed like a bone miniature "Water of mercy" ("Saturday") - a candlestick for "tea candle" (paraffin candle in an aluminum sleeve), a small work.

The plot of the miniature is based on the biblical story of the bath of Bethesda in Jerusalem. In this bath, miracles of healing were performed - from time to time the angel of the Lord disturbed the water of the bath, and the one who first entered it after the disturbance of the water, was cured of any disease.

The miniature depicts an angel disturbing the water of the bath. The flow of water washes away sin, evil and disease, and God's mercy to people is shown through the water of the bath. Stormy sea waters symbolize the sea of life, and man is like a ship in this dangerous sea full of various living creatures.

The fire of the lamp and the water of the bath-as in the words of Scripture depicted in the miniature:

                    "...We entered into fire and water, and You led us to freedom.»
