The tin miniature of the patron saint of St. Petersburg, the Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky, was made in memory of the popular vote in the project "Name of Russia".
A figurine of a saint in full military ammunition, on a rearing horse.
The miniature is full of deep meaning. The prince's pose is not militant, however, military ammunition speaks of readiness to fight any enemy. The steep disposition of the horse is tamed by the will of the prince.
Alexander stares into the distance, sits confidently and evenly in the saddle, his right hand is extended forward. This is a discreet gesture. The prince shows his fellow tribesmen ahead, but as if covering with his hand, protecting his land and his people. He seems to be summoning a squad:
“Forward, brothers! But let's not rush! "
This product is an example of modern Christian art, an inspiring gift for a leader, a solid decoration of a hall or office. The miniature of Alexander Nevsky will remind you of the historical connection between generations of Russia, the achievements and deeds of their ancestors.
An inexpensive tin blackening method was used to decorate the miniature.
