Handmade and blackened tin miniature depicts a Soviet seaman from a dead landing on Sommers Island in the Baltic Sea on July 8, 1942.
The sailor's figurine is made on an inclined deck, which is overwhelmed by the wave. The ship is sinking. But the sailor holds a battle banner in his hand - I die, but I do not surrender.
